So...What can I say about this game? Well...Its the most scariest games ever made, if not, the most scariest games I've ever played. The story begins with you as a D-Class Personal named D-9341 in the SCP (Special Containment Procedures) Foundation doing test for a whole month there, and the test they want you to do is with the well known SCP-173, :iconscp173plz: The Sculpture that kills when no one has their line of sight on him. during the start of the test, something happens to the foundation and there, the containment breach starts and the site becomes on full lock down, and you are on a mission to get the hell out of the SCP foundation. So to start things off, the graphics are passable, it doesn't use a engine like unreal or cryengine, no, it uses a thing called the blitz engine, and well...its not the best engine if you want to have the best looking game to beat crysis or something, but this is one of the games that I really don't care for graphics, its the gameplay what gets me, and the SCP's and story. So the game play is a first person survival horror game, that's right, first person survival horror, not a shooter, no weapons, nothing, just you, items you can find, pick up, and use to survive. The game is well known for its "blinking mechanic" a mechanic where D-9341 needs to blink his eyes. That's what adds the horror in this game, because to survive against SCP-173, you need to keep your eyes on him, and don't look away, or blink, but if you blink, be sure your far enough to keep going and just well go on with no problem. SCP-173 is not the only SCP you have to get away from, you have others like SCP-106, :iconscp106plz: The old man, also nicknamed "Radical Larry" im not joking about that, who can kill you with one touch, or can bring you to his "pocket demission". SCP-895, a wooden coffin that looks normal, just like any other coffin, but that's just with human eyes, on camera...well...they say it shows really horrible images, what I mean by that is that...well...you will see stuff that would want you the scream, vomit, and die. *shiver*, anyway. SCP-096, The Shy Guy, not from Super Mario, no no, the shy guy is a really tall, skinny, really white monster that does not want anyone to look at him. Even just one little hair if he had any, he would go on a rage, scream, and hunt you down and gut you like a fish. there is a story saying that a guy took a picture with someone in a mountain range and saw something odd about it, so just seeing a pixel of him on a picture, prepare yourself. And my Personal favorite SCP, SCP-049 :iconscp-049plz:, the pledge doctor, looking like the doctors from the 15-16th century Europe during the black plague times, he thinks that a lot of people still have the plague and one single touch from him will kill you, then he does surgery on your body, and you come back as a zombie, known as SCP-049-2. There are more SCP's out there, but most of them are either safe, not really harmful, or really helpful. Helpful SCP's are like SCP 500, a pill that heals you from anything you have, from like a simple cold up to being infected from a virus from a SCP like SCP-008, the zombie virus, and SCP-914, The clockworks, you put a item in one of the chambers it has, you turn a knob to fine or very fine, your item well get a upgrade, well sometimes, it doesn't always work, so good luck with it. Most harmful SCP's won't really harm you, like SCP-008 I mentioned, it won't infect you if you have a hazmat suit or just stay away from its chamber. others like SCP-714, a jade ring that can protect you from a lot of unnatural things like SCP-049's touch, but at a cost, you can't sprint a lot with it on. Then you have SCP-1025, the encyclopedia of common diseases, reading a page of that disease will make the reader have that disease, so you read a page of the common cold, you got it. And there's a lot of people's favorite SCP's, the Joke SCP's, they are real, but they are just for the laughs, one is SCP-420-J, "The best s**t in the world" or...eh...weed, and SCP-789-J, The butt ghost, if you fall in the toilet, he eats your butt, and your butt becomes a butt ghost too, but in this game, that doesn't happen. There are more SCP's I want to talk about but that's for you to find out, if you dare... Anyway, SCP's aren't the only things you need to worry about, you also got to watch out for the MTF "Mobile task force" units and the SCP guards that want to kill you and want to secure the facility. The game has randomly generated levels like minecraft I guess I can say, so no different play through will feel the same at all, with this, it keeps the horror up high because you have no idea what you can expect. D-9341 can hold up to 10 different items that include a gas mask used to get pass rooms filled with gas, key cards, used to open high security doors, first aid kits to heal yourself if you got hit, and eyedrops to keep your eyes from blinking for a short while. The sounds and music in this game is oozing with horror, because it goes really well in the dark hall ways not sure if you just peek around a door and :iconscp173plz::iconsaysplz:BOO! You're left with your heart beating or worse. Now, all of that aside, there are some bugs a glitches here and there, but it shouldn't take the experience away from you, so if you like horror games and want to scare yourself or someone else, get this game, its free to download, always. www.scpcbgame.com/ here's the link to the game, I give this game a 9/10, best horror game ever made. If you're interested in learning more on the SCP's www.scp-wiki.net/ here's the link to the SCP Foundation website to see the horrors, and jokes they have to offer.
